❤ 01. I figured a little photo of my red hair would be nice. This is also my new facebook picture so woo. I look rather unhappy or very serious in this picture but I wasn’t really when I took it haha. I’m so in love with my hair at the moment I need to buy some more dye. I rarely use permanent dye when I do it myself so this one will only last 4-6 weeks. I can’t get this color in Denmark which is a tad annoying… However I can get it in Sweden so I’ll just have to get it from there instead!

❤ 02. I officially had my first day at work two days ago. I got a job at “Fish Kiss Spa” in Copenhagen. I love it there. We had our opening day last Saturday {it’s a brand new spa} and it went really well. I will say it was a bit chaotic at first because we were missing a few things such as numbers on the chairs. But it all worked out well. I’ll be working pretty much all days this week so I get into the routine. After I will only be part time so I can continue with Uni as well.

❤ 03. Today is the day that all the universities in the country will send out their letters to all the applicants. Oh man I’m nervous and excited and also prepared for the “worst”. I don’t think I’ll sleep well tonight but after tomorrow I will.

❤ 04. I’ve decided to write a bit in Danish as well in my posts. So there will, in each post, be a danish version of the English version. If that makes sense? I decided to do this because I figured not all Danes like to read English and even though my blog will mainly be in the English vernacular I figured a little danish wouldn’t hurt.

Jeg har fået farvet mit hår rødt og jeg er SÅ glad for det. Dog kan man ikke få min farve i DK så jeg må til Sverige for at hapse den. Jeg er  lige begyndt på et nyt arbejde som ligger inde i Centrum. Det hedder Fish Kiss Spa, kom endelig forbi hvis i har lyst. Det er så lækkert at få behandling 🙂 Idag bliver der sendt brev ud fra cbs om, om jeg kommer ind eller ej. Gud hvor er jeg nervøs! Som i kan se er jeg begyndt at opsummere mine indlæg på dansk for alle jer skønne danskere også <3

As I described in my other post here I’ve had a hard time falling asleep of late and it left me feeling a bit bad last week. I feel better now though. But my sweet mommy came by last Wednesday to cheer me up. Did I mention I have the best mother in the world? I love her so much. But she knows that. Anyhorse, I had this weird craving to go to Denmark’s Aquarium so we went there. It’s about a 25 minute drive from where I live and it is right by the beach. I didn’t plan on the weather to be as good as it was because it was cro-ooooowded and it took a lot longer to get there cause of all the cars. But I loved it. I don’t particularly love fish but there is something nostalgic for me to go to the aquarium. And it’s “lucky” I decided to go there since it’s the last summer it will be placed in this part of Copenhagen. They are building an entirely new aquarium “The Blue Planet” which will become the largest in Scandinavia. It was an amazing day and I felt a lot better and was actually capable to fall asleep instantly that night.  I took quite a lot of photos so I decided to divide this into two posts instead.

Jeg havde i sidste uge ikke fået meget søvn og havde det ikke alt for godt. Heldigvis tog min kære mor fri sidste onsdag og kom forbi for at muntre mig op hvorpå vi så tog ud til Danmarks Akvarium som ligger ude i Charlottenlund. Det var så godt vejr og det var virkelig hyggeligt. Jeg tog en masse billeder så har delt indlægget op i to.

I must say that she has been one of my girl crushes for quite a while. She’s somewhat an inspiration because she worked her ass off to get to where she is today. I first discovered her when I started listening to her music when I was about ten I think. I loved her songs, they were very catchy. Remember “Waiting for tonight?” that was one of my favorite songs. She has really evolved over the years style wise. I guess she hasn’t changed that much music wise since she is a pop artist and has stayed in that zone. Althought her “Jenny From The Block” was a bit RnB ish’. She also turned to the movie screen, actually before her debut album, in 1997. But the movie I always remember her for is “Enough“. She really kicks ass in that movie. I think a lot of men drool over her and I can completely understand why, I mean she has ALL the right curves. The photos from above are some stills from her music video “I’m into you” from 2011, I love her style in this video. However, it is probably a stylist who did all that but still. She is beautiful! And she should really get some credit because she still looks stunning even after having twins. I mean she’s still got that famous booty 😛

I made a post about Eva Mendes a while ago where I said I was going to make a few post about my Icons. I must admit that took a while haha. But I will continue with this. Sometimes something as simple as when you fall asleep can turn everything upside down. I’m not talking about when you go to bed, I’m talking about when you are in bed and try to fall asleep. I have always been able to fall asleep five-ten minutes after I placed my corpus in bed. But lately it takes anything from an hour till two hours. It is exhausting. So I asked myself why this is? I’ve come to realize it’s because I am nervous. It’s a little silly maybe but I guess to my subconsciousness it’s not. You see in about a week I will know if I get in to “CBS” {Copenhagen Business School} and it is killing me that I don’t know what will happen. At the moment I am a student at Copenhagen University but since I don’t feel like continue with the course I’m at I decided to go after what I applied for last year as well.

Last year I didn’t get into CBS because I was missing a course I was taking that same summer. Fair enough. So i embarked on a journey at CPH Uni instead which I do not regret. Because at CPH Uni I gained a lot of friendships and knowledge at the same time of course. But my heart was still set on CBS. So now, I’m really not in the know and my subconsciousness is beating me up inside. So I’m very tired these days and not so full of energy. I hope to get in, of course, but I’ve also prepared myself for the worst scenario, {Me not getting in obviously}. But I know it won’t kill me if I don’t get in, it will make me upset for sure but I know that’s not what’s bothering me. It’s just not knowing… That’s the gruesome part. Have you ever felt like this?

I may be a bit biased because I am completely in love with this show but my gosh these photos are gorgeous. These photos were taken for the Rollingstone Magazine in March 2012. These four actors play Theon Greyjoy, Cersei Lannister, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen in A Game Of Thrones. Kit Harington {who plays Jon Snow}, is one hot piece of eye candy! He reminds me a bit of Orlando Bloom and a bit of Heath Ledger with a touch of Depp in him too. He is just so good looking! My friend is crazy about Alfie Allen {who plays Theon greyjoy}, I don’t see the big fuss about him I mean he is pretty but he ain’t  no Kit. Lena Hadley {who plays Cersei Lannister} looks so much different than she does in the show. In the show she has long golden hair and is the meanest person you can encounter haha. But that’s on set ofc! I’m sure she is very lovely off set. Emilia Clarke {who plays Daenerys “khaleesi” Targaryen} is stunningly gorgeous. I do actually think she is prettier with her fair white hair which she has in the show. But she looks much more natural as a brunette. If you haven’t seen the show yet I would highly recommend you to give it a shot. It’s a beautiful tale and the cinematography is quite astonishing.
