Last Seen In The Cinema: “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”

This movie honestly has the longest title ever, but it is actually what made me want to watch it in the first place. I’ve had Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri on my radar ever since November, where I did my research for my upcoming movie post.

Matt and I went to the cinema on the night it premiered, two weeks ago, because we both really wanted to watch it. It is an amazing movie (check the ratings on imdb too). The script in this movie is amazing, the humor is so dark and funny, and at the same time it is a very serious and sad movie. Frances McDormand is impeccable in the role as Mildred, the hurt and angry mother of a murdered girl. In fact I have nothing bad to say about any of the actors, they all brought something great to the movie. I hope Frances wins an oscar for best lead actress, and although I want Dunkirk to win best picture, I think Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri might win an oscar for best picture. I can’t recommend this movie enough, so if you don’t know what to watch at the cinema, or at home – definitely give this a shot! 😊
