A cozy Christmas Tradition

Every year on the 1st Sunday of advent we, my mom, grandma and me, visit our family on my grandad’s side. This year it was on the 29th of November. It is always super cozy and christmassy. We eat the best homemade æbleskiver you could possible eat, drink yummy homemade glögg, create Christmas decorations and end the day with a lovely dinner.

Here’s a glimpse of this year’s cozy christmas ‘julehygge’ day.

Love is how you stay alive

Once in a while I like to take a lot of selfies and make a collage. I just think ‘maybe it will be fun to look back at in the future‘. Maybe. I’ll keep doing it. At least once in a while. (Ps. These are from September when I had red-ish hair)

Marc Jacobs – The Lolita

When I first saw Marc Jacobs palettes in Sephora I was amazed of how beautiful the packaging looked. So sleek and sophisticated. I tried a few different shadows in Sephora and decided to get my hands on The Lolita palette. I do have a thing for more natural shades which is why the choice fell on this one.

A walk in Nature

I stayed at my mom’s place a few weeks ago. Actually it was the same weekend I had lunch with my mom, godsister and godmom. On one of the days my mom and I went for a walk in this super cute area (forest) near Køge. I just felt like getting some fresh air and taking a stroll in nature. There is always something calming about a walk in a forest at least there is to me. ?

Family & Food

A few weekends ago my mom and I went to have lunch with my godmom and godsister. My godmom had booked a table at The Union Kitchen in downtown Copenhagen. The Union Kitchen is a super small restaurant but with the smallness also comes coziness. It so happens that they also serve really nice food to a decent price! It was a super great day and it was so so nice to catch up. It had been a little while since we had last seen each other. Family does really mean everything to me ❤️

Last weekend in England

A Christmas tree in Copenhagen Airport

Last Friday I flew to England. The weekend was spent relaxing and shopping for Christmas presents. Saturday we went to Macclesfield cause Matt had to pick out some new glasses. Afterwards we headed to the Trafford Centre which is a HUGE mall. I wanted to pick up some presents from some of the stores. We headed to the food court first because we were pretty hungry. Neither of us had tried “Coast to Coast” and decided to see if it was good, it was. After lunch we had planned to start shopping. However, there were so many people it wasn’t fun to shop at all. We could hardly move around so after an hour we decided to head back. The drive to the mall took 40 mins… The drive back took nearly two hours!! That’s how many people were there. It took us almost an hour just to get from the mall to the motorway. Soooo many cars!
